Project Description: The Tarrant County College District oversees the daily management of roofs across all its facilities, totaling over 3 million square feet. The district aims to hire a consultant to establish a proactive roof management program. This program will ensure proper maintenance and management of the roofs, extending their lifespan, reducing capital costs, preventing leaks, and promptly addressing any emergencies that occur. Additionally, the program will optimize the use of roof spaces to enhance environmental efficiency and minimize stormwater runoff.
• Reconcile current assessments, provide yearly roof assessments and prioritize roof restoration, replacement and renovation.
• Visually inspect all the roof sections at least once a year.
• Manage a leak response center as well as dispatch, manage and supervise roofing contractors in connection with roof leaks.
• Provide construction administration for roof rehabilitation and re-roofing projects.
• Provide oversight and review of the Technical Design Guidelines.
• Develop a Roof Asset Management Plan.
