Description

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announces its intention to negotiate and issue a limited source logical follow-on order of previously competed GSA Order # 47QTCA18D00EF to Excidion Inc. 1818 Library St Reston, VA 20190-6274 for eFiling Tier 1 Technical Support. Excidion developed the eFiling Product Registry within the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) International Trade Data System/Risk Assessment Methodology (ITDS/RAM) under the initial contract. The eFiling Product Registry plays a critical role in trade party interactions and risk assessment within the ITDS/RAM framework. Support for trade parties in the use of this system, along with troubleshooting application-related issues, requires specialized expertise and deep familiarity with the platform’s architecture. Excidion possesses unique qualifications as the original developer of the registry, providing them with an unmatched understanding of the system’s intricacies.

CPSC intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 805-6(a)(1)(C ) and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)1. The sole source procurement will be awarded as a Task Order off of a GSA Schedule in accordance with FAR Part 8 and 12 procedures. Interested persons may identify with their interest and submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet this requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any quotation/response must be in writing and can be sent via email to the Contract Specialist at apatel@cpsc.gov by 11am Eastern Time June 12, 2025. No phone calls will be accepted.
