Learning Management System for the NYS Youth Justice Institute

This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is issued by the University at Albany, State University of New York, (SUNY) herein after referred to as “University”. It is the intent of this request for proposal to identify qualified and responsible contractors who are in the business of providing a complete e-Learning Management System (LMS) allowing the New York State Youth Justice Institute to provide professional and public e-learning opportunities that are user friendly to diverse learners of various educational backgrounds and experiences. The LMS that is being procured in this solicitation is for the use of the New York State Youth Justice Institute only. The LMS will not be for use by the entire University at Albany community.

The scope of the Learning Management System procurement will train the NYS Youth Justice Institute and assist the NYS Youth Justice Institute in the development, creation, management, and delivery of e-learning content by the NYS Youth Justice Institute to the public and clients. The LMS is a platform for the NYS Youth Justice Institute to provide educational training and learning opportunities accessible to learners internally and externally. The LMS will be utilized by the NYS Youth Justice Institute to develop internal and external course content through various learning modules and educational tools for teaching diverse groups of learners. This LMS will be utilized to collect, analyze, and interpret data from those courses, administrators, and learners. The LMS must be accessible to non-university and public entities for the broader scope of education and training capacity.
