Description
SOLICITATION NOTICE:
The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Retaining Wall Replacement project for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, OH.
Work consists of Clearing and grubbing, Construction; including compaction and backfilling, of a 142.5-foot replacement retaining wall adjacent to a140-foot (approximately) failing timber retaining wall at milepost 40.3, near Bridge 436, New retaining wall shall be constructed per American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) standards with a minimum service life of 30 years, Replace ballast of the section of railroad above retaining wall as required per AREMA standards.
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6425B0008
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000
TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price contract will be issued.
Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, OH will apply.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237310, and the size standard is $45 million.
This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.

REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number.
