Description
This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or request for proposals. The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: 1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; 2) Whether they are small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition: 561730 ? ?Landscaping Services? with a small business size standard of $8M. 3) On behalf of the 99th Readiness Division the U.S. Army Contracting Command ? New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Grounds Maintenance Services in Richmond, VA (VA048) and North Chesterfield, VA (VA050). Please see attachment DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Site Map for additional information. Place of Performance is as follows: 1LT Jimmie L. Monteith USARC, 1741 E Belt Blvd Richmond, VA 23224-4913 (VA048) and Richmond AFRC 6002 Strathmore Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23234-4916 (VA050). The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price type contract as result of the solicitation to be issued. 5) The anticipated period of performance is one (1) base year and four (4) twelve-month option periods. Please be advised the Attachments provided are for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure theses services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as quotes/bids/offers. Provide a response to the following: 1) Name of Company; Company Address; Point of Contact, with Name, Phone Number, E-Mail Address, NAICS Code, DUNS Number. CAGE Code, and Socio-Economic Size Status (Large/SmallBusiness/HubZone/8(a)/Woman Owned Small Business/etc.). 2) Contractor acknowledges a clear understanding of all tasks specified in the attached DRAFT PWS. 3) Confirms full capabilities of completing the required work specified in the attached DRAFT PWS. 4) Provide a capability statement for the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. 5) What type of work has your company performed in the past in support of the same or similar requirement. 6) What percentage of the work is your company able to complete, without subcontracting.
