Project Description: Sealed Qualifications will be accepted at the City of Waco’s Operations Center, 1415 N. 4th Street, Waco, TX until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 31, 2024. The City of Waco is seeking a professional consulting engineering firm to perform engineering design and modeling services for a bridge planning of the Primrose Creek corridor between South 21st Street and South University Parks Drive (FM 434) was identified as a flooding hazard. This area is bordered by the Brazos River, Primrose Creek, and Cottonwood Creek. The inundated structures restrict mobility of the public and reduce efficiency for emergency response vehicles during rain events. The City of Waco is requesting statement of qualifications from experienced professional firms for providing engineering services to perform hydraulic & hydrologic modeling and bridge analysis for the Bridge Investment Program (BIP) Primrose Creek Bridges Planning Project. This project will evaluate seven existing bridges along a 2.2-mile corridor of Primrose Creek between South 21st Street and South University Parks Drive (FM 434): • S 18th Street Bridge • S 12th Street Bridge • Gurley Lane Bridge • Garden Drive Bridge • S 4th Street Bridge • S 3rd Street Bridge
