TIME AND PLACE OF OPENING OF BIDS:
Sealed proposals for the improvement described below will be received at the office of the Village of Gurnee, Engineering Division, 325 N. O’Plaine Road, Gurnee, Illinois 60031, until 10:30 A.M., September 29th, 2025. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at that time.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Project # 8465
LOCATIONS:
- 3500 Harper Avenue.
- Bough Court
- 925 Elsie
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT:
Scope of work includes 310 Feet of 12 inch storm pipe installation, 40 Feet of 30 inch RCP, pipe removal, inlet installs, reditching, Hot Mix Asphalt driveway and roadway R&R, tree removal, and brush removal at multiple locations within the Village.
BIDDERS INSTRUCTIONS:
- Plans and proposal forms will be available in the office of the Village of Gurnee, 325 N. O’Plaine Road, Gurnee, Illinois 60031 for a non-refundable cost of $25.
- The Contractor must abide by the articles included in the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130).
- The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Check Sheet LRS 6 of the “Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions,” prepared by the Department of Transportation. The contractor is not required to provide a guarantee in accordance with Sheet LRS 6.
