Base plus four 1-year option period sole source for sharps waste collection/removal services at the
Illiana Health Care System in Danville, IL and its affiliated CBOCs. POP: Award Date 03/31/2030.
Award will be made in accordance with FAR 13.5 is 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and is implemented by FAR
13.106-1(b)(2) for restricting competition on this procurement. Competition is restricted on
this procurement for the reason below:
( X ) Unusual and Compelling Urgency
RFQ 36C25225Q0323 resulted in no award; the government could not determine pricing fair and reasonable. The current contract ended on 03/31/2025. Award will be made to Stericycle as a Sole Source Award.
*** This award will be for five years (Award Date 03/31/2030).
