SEWER RELOCATION
WEST MEMPHIS UTILITY
COMMISSION,
WEST MEMPHIS, AR
The West Memphis Utility Commission solicits Sealed Bids for Southland 191 Sewer Relocation in West Memphis, Arkansas. Bids will be received at 604 East Cooper Avenue, West Memphis, AR 72301, until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, January 09, 2025, and opened immediately thereafter.
The work consists generally of the following: abandonment of 1,400-ft of 8-in sewer force main in place, abandonment of 822-ft of 12-in sanitary sewer and 3 sewer manholes with flowable fill, installation of 1,760-ft of 8-in PVC SDR- 21 sewer force main, installation of 780-ft of 18-in PVC SDR-26 gravity sewer main and 3 sewer manholes, and 110- ft of 24-in steel casing. Included in this work will be bypass pumping, concrete work, pavement repair, traffic control, erosion control, site stabilization, and all other necessary and related work to complete the project as shown on the plans and described in the specifications.
All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type construction herein described, as required by the State of Arkansas.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the West Memphis Utility Commission, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. Submittal of a minimum of three (3) copies of the Bid response is required, one (1) original and two
(2) copies.
Any Bidder, upon written request, will be given permission to withdraw his Proposal not later than the time set for opening. Bids accepted and read will remain effective for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of such bid.
