Project Description: The primary goal of this Work is to eliminate odors and corrosion (from hydrogen sulfide, H2S) in the pumped sewer system. MSD requires that the selected bidder (Contractor) perform the activities associated with the provision of the odor/corrosion control services (Work) of MSD’s collection system in accordance with this agreement. Chemical delivery is to be supplied/managed by the same company that provides the odor monitoring, operation of equipment, equipment maintenance, and reporting services, but Contractor can purchase chemical from another source. Chemicals may be delivered by a subcontractor. Services shall be provided in a safe, secure, effective, and efficient manner and in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. All costs for services provided shall be paid in accordance with the payment provisions as described in this RFP and detailed in the agreement.
