A. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (hereinafter “DLA Energy” or “the Government”) is soliciting written offers for the sale of Excess Fuel as follows:

NOTE: Government estimated quantity is subject to plus or minus 10% variance typical in DLA Energy fuel contracts.
B. Excess fuel supplied by the Government is expected to meet or exceed specifications contained in EXHIBIT B (QAP C16.01 TURBINE FUEL, AVIATION (JP5) (DLA ENERGY JAN 2025) for Line Item 0001) and (QAP C16.23 FUEL, NAVAL
DISTILLATE (F76) (DLA ENERGY MARCH 2025) for Line Item 0002). However, the fuel is being sold “AS IS”. "AS-IS" means the Government makes no warranty, express or implied, as to quantity, kind, character, quality, weight, size, or description of any of the product, or its fitness for any use or purpose. The product will be sold in United States Gallons (USG). The description of the product is based on the best information available to the Government.
C. A recent laboratory analysis of product in each respective tank is attached as Exhibit E. This analysis was performed prior to the issuance of this solicitation and may not reflect the current status of the product to be sold. It is provided solely for informational purposes and does not alter the “AS IS” nature of the sale or create any warranty, express or implied.
