Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Note: This acquisition is subject to the availability of funds.
INTRODUCTION: The AFCEC has a requirement to upgrade a 2024 Ford F-550 Dual Rear Wheel cab and chassis truck with a new steel utility truck bed. The Government is seeking a contractor to provide and install a new steel utility truck bed on the vehicle as specified below. The AQD is issuing this competitive RFQ as 100% set aside for small business.
OVERVIEW OF THE REQUIREMENT: This acquisition is to provide and install the exact required commercial end item of supply with the required specifications below on or before December 1, 2025. The Government intends to drop-off and pick-up the vehicle at the location of installation given the driving distance does not exceed 100 miles from the address below:

Installation Requirements: The selected vendor will be responsible for the full installation of the service bed onto the identified vehicle. Installation must comply with all applicable safety standards, and all wiring, fuel access points, and hitch components must be fully functional and tested prior to delivery.
