Description

The Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI) requires the purchase of i2

Software with a firm fixed price (FFP) a Base Year (BY) plus four Option Year (OY) contract.

i2 enables law enforcement professionals to create evidence-driven knowledge graphs. This

allows for the visual representation of relationships between suspects and other people of

organization in their criminal networks. By using i2 technology, investigators can build

comprehensive case files and uncover critical information that may otherwise remain hidden.

Without I2 Analyst Notebook CI will have reduced capacity to analyze data using knowledge

graphs. In addition, CI will have reduced capacity collaborating with other Federal Law

Enforcement that use i2 and i2 files.

While there are numerous tools that can produce knowledge graphs, i2 is common place in

Federal Law Enforcement. Numerous partners in DOJ, DHS and other agencies build large

case files using i2. In order to collaborate on this cases CI must also have i2. i2 Files have a

propreitary format than can not be modiifed with other software.
