Description

Notice of intent to use a brand name product. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific (NAVFAC Pacific) is performing a market survey to determine if other potential sources of supply can provide radio fire alarm transmitters and antennas. The products must have equal performance and listing/approval requirements as the Monaco Radio Fire Alarm Transmitter and Antennas.



FY26 MCA Project P-219/104219 PDI: Guam Defense System, EIAMD, Ph2, JR Marianas, Guam and FY27 MCA Project P-935/107935 PDI: Forward Operating Sites, JR Marianas, Guam, Guam each requires eight (8) radio fire alarm transmitter and antenna with the following characteristics:




  1. Equipment shall be tested and listed by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).

  2. Equipment shall be compatible and NRTL listed or approved to be used with the Base existing radio fire alarm equipment. Existing equipment on Base is Monaco D-21 radio fire alarm system comprised of one Monaco radio fire alarm receiver. A Monaco D-500 radio fire alarm system serves as a back up to the Monaco D-21 radio fire alarm system.

  3. Equipment shall utilize narrowband radio communication meeting the requirements of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Frequency Management.

In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), a response to this notice is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The responder is solely responsible for the information it submits and any associated costs. The Government reserves the right to disregard any submittal that is incomplete or vague. Please do not submit company brochures.

Any information provided to the Government in response to this Request for Information (RFI) will become U.S. Government property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately.
