INVITATION TO BID

Sealed Bids for construction of Bristol Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Bar Screen and Influent Pump Upgrades will be received by the City of Bristol at the Municipal Annex Building Conference Room (104 8th Street, Bristol, TN 37620) until 2 PM, March 19th, 2026 and at that time and place bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract Documents may be examined and/or obtained at the office of CDM Smith, 1100 Marion Street, Suite 300, Knoxville, TN 37921; City Hall Annex, 104 Eighth Street, Bristol, TN 37620; and online at the City of Bristol, Tennessee website (http://bristoltn.org) and at http://dodgeprojects.construction.com/ .

Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of CDM Smith, at 1100 Marion Street, Suite 300, Knoxville, TN 37921 or by calling (865) 963-4300. A non-refundable check deposit of $250 made payable to CDM Smith will be required for each set of Contract Documents.

Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid.

Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of thirty days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the Bids.

The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner.

Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders.

This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
