Scope of Services
The St. Johns County School District hereby announces its intention to obtain Professional Architectural Continuing Contract Services for various school related projects in the following area of expertise:
• Architectural Design Services
• Roofing Analysis and Design Services
The various services shall include, but not be limited to, the capability to provide: remodeling; renovations; additions; expansions; new construction; technology updates and retrofits; energy updates and retrofits; Department of Education approved grants; energy rebate processing; roofing analysis and design (including re-roofing). This will be a multiple year contract to one or more firms for a period of up to five (5) years, renewable on an annual basis. The firm(s) selected under a continuing contract will be responsible for assigned projects, the estimated total cost of each individual project not to exceed the amount as defined in §287.055 Florida Statutes. St. Johns County School District reserves the right to negotiate and award multiple projects to the firms(s) selected for continuing contract services. Applicants are advised that all plans, drawings and specifications for these projects become property of the St. Johns County School District.
Minimum qualifications for submitting firms are as follows:
• Ten (10) years of professional expertise within the architectural and/or roofing design field.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing educational facilities and State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF) and the use and approval of public lands.
The Request for Qualification, which includes instructions for completion of responses and the selection process may be obtained online at: www.myvendorlink.com
All responses (to include 1 manually signed original, 1 photocopy, and a thumb drive of the complete RFQ response in one pdf document) must be sealed in one envelope and clearly marked on the outside: “Response to Request for Qualifications: RFQ2026-006 Professional Architectural Continuing Contract Services”.
Mail or otherwise deliver to: St. Johns County School District, Facilities & Operations, 3740 International Golf Parkway, Suite 200, St. Augustine, FL 32092. All responses must be received on or before 1:30 PM EST on Monday, February 9, 2026.
The St. Johns County School Board reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive informalities and minor irregularities, and to request resubmission or additional information which is considered to be in the best interest of the School District.
Note: Certain rights are granted to you under Florida Law, and we are required by that law to notify you that if you are going to file a protest that, "Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under chapter 120, Florida Statutes."
