The single-award IDIQ contract will be to provide the full of range of User Experience (UX) / User Interface (UI) design and engineering to the development of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems and products for Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific. UX/UI activities and methods here are grouped with Human Factors Engineering (HFE), User-Centered Design, and Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) and shall hence forward be referred to as UX/UI. The scope of this SOW includes application to software and hardware as it relates to human factors and will be applied throughout and any time within a product’s lifecycle.
The UX/UI methods cover standards typical of this domain including related process and products. The main task elements are categorized as: research, assessment, design, prototype, and test, which are activities that occur across the design and development lifecycle. It also includes the scientific and systematic interactions required with the expected users of the system/product. The ordering period of the awarded effort is for five (5) years.
