Description: The Niagara Region of NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYSOPRHP) is soliciting quotes for invasive plant control along the Niagara Gorge. The project site spans from the Aquarium of Niagara Great lakes 360 at Niagara Falls State Park to the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge. This project involves a one-time treatment of chemical applications to the following woody invasive species: common buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) honeysuckle (Lonicera spp.), Oriental bittersweet (Celastrus orbiculatus), and privet (Ligustrum spp.) See attached Request for Quotation for bid submission information and detailed scope of work.
