NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD BPA CALL





THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.



This synopsis is a NOTICE OF INTENT to award a BPA Call from an established BPA for Region 9 Facilities and does not constitute a request for quotes or submission of any information in response to this notification. Only contractors with an active BPA for the respective zone will be eligible for this call order.



The USDA Forest Service (FS), Procurement & Property Services (PPS) is issuing this synopsis as a means of complying with the USDA’s policy in the Contracting Desk Book, section 413.303 Simplified Acquisition Methods – Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). BPA calls over $25,000 require synopsis to the government point of entry, even if a synopsis was done at the BPA level. Exemption at FAR 5.202(a)(11) does not apply.

The USDA FS intends on awarding a BPA Call for repairing the Lake Vesuvius Dam gate for the Wayne National Forest.



This procurement is restricted to the approved eligible companies.



This requirement will be awarded as a BPA Call against the Region 9 Facilities Blanket Purchase Agreements previously solicited on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at https://sam.gov/content/home. The government will not provide feedback or evaluations to companies regarding their submissions in response to this notice.



Work includes but is not limited to: furnish all labor, supervision, management, equipment, tools, materials, incidentals, and expertise necessary to inspect, repair, modify, and maintain the Lake Vesuvius cast iron slide gate system in accordance with this contract, applicable manufacturer specifications, and all federal, state, and local regulations. All work shall be performed in a manner that ensures the continued safe operation of Lake Vesuvius Dam and associated infrastructure..
