Non-competitive firm-fixed-price modification.
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a firm fixed price type modification to Contract N0001918C0004 on a sole source basis to General Electric Aviation Systems (GEAS). This contract was procured non-competitively pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). This is for the procurement of the Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) with a Life of Type Buy (LoTB) to address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) to support the Generator Convertor Units (GCU). GEAS is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the Generator Converter Units (GCU) produced under contract N0001918C0004.
