The City of Berkeley is advertising the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation – Adeline St, Shattuck Ave, et al. Specification No. 25-11688-C. Bids will be received at the General Services Division of the Finance Department of the City of Berkeley, 2180 Milvia Street, 3rd Floor, Berkeley, CA 94704 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

Pre-Bid Office Meeting followed by Field Visit: A non-mandatory pre-bid office meeting followed by field visit will meet at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 4th Floor of 1947 Center Street, Berkeley, CA 94704. This is an in-person meeting only.

The Engineer’s estimate for the work is $5,553,180.

The work to be done consists of, but is not limited to:

a) Cured-In-Place Pipe Liner (Method "A") of approximately 6,375 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe ranging in size from 20-inch to 45-inch diameter.

b) Pipe Bursting (Method "B") or Traditional Open Trench (Method "C"), at the discretion of the Contractor, of approximately 285 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe ranging in size from 8-inch to 20-inch diameter.

c) Traditional Open Trench (Method "C") of approximately 575 linear feet of 24-inch diameter sanitary sewer mains.
