Description

The Board of Education of School District #38 (Richmond) is inviting Proposals from qualified Proponents for furniture design consulting, supply, delivery, assembly and installation of school/office furniture as further described in this RFP. The District intends to enter into an agreement with one or more selected Proponents.

On June, 2025, the Richmond Board of Education announced plans for a K-7 school at 8671 Odlin Crescent, Richmond, BC V6X 1G1. The target opening date for the school is September 1, 2026. The winning Proponent(s) must complete delivery, assembly and installation no later than July 31, 2026.

A mandatory site visit will be held to review the scope of Work and site conditions. Failure to attend may result in disqualification. Date: NOVEMBER 25, 2025 Time: 3:00 PM PST Location: 8671 Odlin Crescent, Richmond, BC V6X 1G1
Please note that this is an active construction site. The Construction Management firm, acting as the Prime Contractor, is responsible for all site safety in accordance with WorkSafeBC requirements. The District recommends that all individuals entering the site wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, high-visibility vests, and steel-toe footwear. Proponents are responsible for ensuring their personnel comply with the Prime Contractor’s safety protocols and any site-specific requirements. The District is not responsible for any injuries during site visits.
