The City of Calgary requires an independent consulting firm to analyze stormwater contaminants, other than Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Total Phosphorus (TP), in the Bow River and its tributaries within Calgary and prepare a corresponding tabular tool and synthesis report. This work includes data review, contaminant identification, data analysis, impact assessment, guideline recommendations, risk evaluation, and contaminant prioritization.
The objectives of this work are:
        to understand the current and potential future impacts of contaminants (other than TSS and TP) in the City’s stormwater on the Bow River watershed and its tributaries within Calgary, including impacts to the environment (e.g., aquatic ecosystem health, habitat, assimilative capacity), to downstream users, and to cultural, aesthetic, public health, and recreational resources; and
        to inform future actions to address these impacts.

Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement Letter, the award under this RFP will be for all Phases of the Requirements, subject to approval by The City after each Phase.
