Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials (Payment) Bond in the amount of 50% of the bid price.

Pursuant to MGL Chapter 149, the City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, Bid #26041, for Drinking Water and Sewage Electrical Services requiring 24 hour emergency response within 60 minutes. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Labor and Materials (Payment) Bond in the amount of 50% of the bid price. Bids will be due and opened electronically on Wed., Oct. 8, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. on bidnet direct https://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/gloucesterma. Bid packages will be available on Wed. Sept. 24, 2025 at bidnet direct. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
