THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government seeks feedback from industry and invites qualified design/build construction contractors to schedule a feedback session via the information below.
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service, Southeast Sunbelt Region intends to design and construct replacement of selected roofs, electric breakers, and the fire alarm systems at the IRS Service Center in Memphis, TN. The IRS Service Center campus consists of 13 buildings. This project consists of three combined delivery efforts: First to replace selected flat roofs, second to replace the existing fire alarm system, and third to replace 26 failed breakers, with some identified as spares.
To date, GSA has full funding for the project and currently projects a construction start 3rd quarter CY 2025. GSA is currently in the procurement planning phase and expects award of the design build contractor in first quarter CY 2025.
GSA seeks industry feedback on the following:
GSA invites qualified design/build construction contractors with a sufficient bonding capacity to complete this short survey https://forms.gle/axTBGv1H3Jsax85x5 (may need to copy and paste the URL into your web browser) to provide feedback. In addition we invite interested and qualified design/build contractors to schedule a virtual feedback session lasting approximately 30 minutes with the GSA project team (via the survey). We hope to schedule virtual feedback sessions between November 19th-22nd via google meets video conference.
