The City of Galax is seeking quotes for repairs on the swinging bridge located at 200 Fair Street, Galax, VA. The project includes replacement of all wood decking, wooden side rails, and the 12âfoot wooden ramps on both descending ends of the bridge. The bridgeâs steel structure is in good condition and requires no repairs. The total bridge span is approximately 95 feet. Work will consist solely of removal of deteriorated wood and installation of new, exteriorâgrade lumber.
