Project Description: Repair Barrack building 2081 Construction - Demolition and Repair Work: Repair Barracks B2081 includes demolition and repair and will be paid for at the contract price, complete in place and ready for use, including demolition called out on contact drawings. Repair 2081 includes connecting water with Chiller in B2082 and all incidental items necessary to complete the work.

Estimated construction cost: $25-100M


The work shall be completed (810) calendar days from the First Day of Construction as defined in the Notice to Proceed.

Special Note

After this project has bid it is each contractors responsibility to delete and destroy all RFP documents.

PREVAILING WAGE

Subcontractor and its agents, employees, and tiered subcontractors shall comply with provisions of the all Labor Codes, including those relating to payment of prevailing rates of wages.

BONDING

Stronghold Engineering, Inc. may require all subcontractors to be prepared to furnish performance and payment bonds issued by an admitted surety in the amount of their bid. Premium cost to be included in bid as a separate bid item. Stronghold Engineering, Inc., at its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive the requirement for such bond, to permit substitute security, or to accept alternate guarantees in lieu of such bonds.

Stronghold Engineering, Inc. is strongly encouraging ALL Small Business Subcontractors and Suppliers to bid on this project including (SBE) - (SDB) - (WBE) - (MBE) - (DBE) - (UDBE) - (WOSB) - (VOSB) - (DVBE) - (SDVOSB) - (HUBZone) and any others not listed. PREQUALIFICATION

Stronghold requests that Subcontractors participate in a prequalification program. Although prequalification is not required to bid, it shall be the responsibility of each subcontractor submitting bids to the prime contractor to complete the prequalification process as a condition of the contract. Failure to demonstrate sufficient qualifications to perform the work, in the sole discretion of Stronghold, may result in the forfeiture of the Contract.
