The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) requires agencies that operate fixed route operations to provide complementary paratransit service for individuals who are unable to use the fixed route system. In 1995, VTA responded to this civil rights legislation with the implementation of ADA ACCESS Paratransit Service. VTA seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide Access Paratransit services (“Services”) and to partner with VTA to manage, operate, and maintain these Services.
The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) seeks a contractor/s that will be responsible for VTA’s ACCESS Paratransit Service (“Services”).
