New Fred D. Wish Museum School Independent Structural Review

The selected individual or firm shall provide a structural engineering review of the structural plans and specifications of the proposed new school facility in accordance with Conn. Gen. Stat. § 29-276b(b). The structural engineering firm shall submit to the School Building Committee (SBC) via the Owner’s Project Manager (OPM), a written report of its structural review of the proposed facility for compliance with the requirements of the State Building Code (“Code”) and shall specifically identify any members, systems, and/or components of the primary structural support systems that do not comply with the requirements of the Code. The project will be permitted in the City of Hartford and will be designed to the current Edition of the Connecticut State Building Code (Code), and all applicable Federal and State Regulations and Local Ordinances.
