This is an amendment 1 for Piedmont with increased funds and term for existing sole source. UV Preventative Maintenance Service for UV3000 disinfection system

The Paseo Real Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) owns and operates a Trojan UV3000 Disinfection system. This system is used to disinfect the finish water stream prior to it discharging into the Santa Fe River. The system requires highly specialized periodic maintenance which the current WWTP staff cannot perform. This maintenance is critical to ensure that the system continues to stay in operation 24 hours a day year-round. A request for service was requested by the manufacturer Trojan Technologies Inc., they stated because the system was repaired numerous times with third party parts, they would not be able to service our equipment. The WWTP staff located Piedmont Services and was able to use them the complete major repairs.to keep the system operational we are requesting to continue using Piedmont to complete periodic maintenance.
