Description:	Hello – Los Angeles County Public Works is seeking proposals for Excavation Trenching Safety Training (Competent Person) (12 hours). After reviewing the information contained in the attachment, please submit all items requested within the Request for Proposal (RFP) by email to hsyeed@dpw.lacounty.gov or by fax to (626) 282-8312 no later than Thursday, April 2, 2026. All bid proposals must be on company letterhead. Late and/or incomplete proposals may not be accepted. Vendors must be a registered County Vendor. You can register at http://camisvr.co.la.ca.us/LACOBids/ IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are unable to participate in this solicitation, please submit a “No Bid” response to hsyeed@dpw.lacounty.gov. Proposals will be examined in accordance with the goals and objectives outlined in this RFP and will be evaluated to determine if training curriculum, manuals, approach, experience, and qualifications demonstrate that the Proposer is likely to meet or exceed expectations. 2 -Quality/depth of training content -Experience of trainers -References -Cost -Length of time in business of training and employee education -Responsiveness to each proposal requirements in this Bid Solicitation. Vendor will be disqualified if proposal is missing any of the items requested. -Presentation (Top candidates may be asked to provide a demonstration of the training for the safety committee).
