JH27-109 Three Creeks Allotment Habitat Improvement and Fuels Reduction Fence Construction Project

Conducting Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide:services in this contract to remove and reconstruct up to 19,056 feet (3.6 miles) of 4-strand barbed wire fence to the specifications listed below. There are two sections of fence to be removed and reconstructed, one on the boundary of the Middle Canyon and Three Creeks pastures (9,029 feet) and one on the boundary of the Three Creeks and Tebbs Hollow Pasture (10,027 Linear Feet). Approximately 2 miles of the fence will be constructed with sage grouse reflectors. Bids should be submitted on a per/foot lineal basis for removal, and construction basis. Per foot and total bid, prices will include all mobilization and operation costs. There will be no fuel surcharges or adjustments negotiated.
Mandatory Site Visit: NONE
A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: Section of fenceline between Three Creeks and Tebbs Hollow pastures must be completed by February 15, 2027. Entire contract must be completed by April 1, 2027.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for the completion of the project.
