2026-07 Roadway Safety Improvements

Walker County, Georgia is soliciting proposals from qualified is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to perform roadway safety improvements funded through the Georgia DOT Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) Safety Action Plan. The project includes installation of traffic signage, pavement striping, raised pavement markers, and shoulder improvements.

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of Joe Legge, Walker County Government, 101 S Duke St., LaFayette, GA 30728 until 3:00 p.m. local time on April 20, 2026, and then publicly opened and read aloud at said location.

Copies of the RFP, including vendor registration and requirements, may be obtained in the offices of Walker County Government, 101 S Duke St., LaFayette, GA 30728 or online at walkercountyga.gov/public-notices or through the Georgia Procurement Registry.

Walker County Government reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive formalities, technicalities or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary.
