The Lanier County Board of Commissioners is accepting bids for the project: Lanier County Recreation Complex 2025

The project is located in Lakeland, Georgia, at the corner of South Oak Street and E Burnt Church Road. This project is the second phase of construction for the complex and includes the associated parking lot, concrete, infrastructure, fencing, and appurtenances for the five baseball/softball fields and multipurpose field that have already been constructed (field earthwork, irrigation, and grassing were completed in Phase 1) as shown on the plans prepared by LEA, PC. The contract time is 180 days. The Bid Documents may be viewed at the Lanier County Board of Commissioners offices, 56 W Main St, Lakeland, Georgia 31635, and a pdf copy of the plans and bid documents can be requested from lbrown@lea-pc.com.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at 162 West Thigpen Avenue, Lakeland, Georgia on August 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Sealed bid proposals may be hand delivered or mailed only to the Lanier County Board of Commissioners Offices, Lanier County Courthouse, 56 W. Main Street, Suite 9, Lakeland, Georgia until September 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

The public bid opening will be held at the time and date above at the Lanier County Annex, 162 W Thigpen Avenue, Lakeland, Georgia 31635. A 5% bid bond is required.
