Description


Sealed bids for construction of the Exit 24 - Water System Extension project will be received until May 15th, 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Twiggs County Courthouse, 425 Railroad Street, Jeffersonville, Georgia 31044, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically may be provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State law.

Bidders may view the digital plan documents for free by creating a Quest account and entering the Quest project number 10154942 on the website¿s project search page. Bidders can download the digital documents for a fee of $250.00 for PDF file payable through the website. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a ¿Utility Contractor¿ and must also employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder who will have oversight of all utility work.

All qualifying Contractors and Subcontractors performing work with the Twiggs County Board of Commissioners must register and participate in the federal work authorization program commonly known as E-Verify, or any subsequent replacement program, to verify the work eligibility information of new employees.

Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids.
