The City of Kalamazoo has been awarded a federal grant for the construction engineering of Kalamazoo Avenue between Douglas and E. Michigan Avenue. This is funded by the Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) grant program.
To begin construction engineering work, the City is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional services for the Kalamazoo Avenue (Douglas – E. Michigan Ave) project. Engineering will be federally funded and shall comply with all federal requirements.
The City of Kalamazoo (City) is seeking a proposal for Construction Engineering (CE) services for the Kalamazoo Ave – Streets For All project planned for 2026-27 (MDOT Job No. 218917). CE services include resident project representative, testing, contract administration, and project management of this LAP job to include pre-construction, construction, and post-construction meetings and coordination as described below.
