ACE Main Parking Expansion Phase 2

The Academy for Classical Education (ACE) is soliciting sealed proposals for the ACE Main Parking Expansion Phase 2 project at 5665 New Forsyth Road, Macon, Georgia. Proposals will be received at the ACE Main Office until 2:00 P.M. on July 2, 2026.
The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for the parking expansion, including grading, drainage improvements, erosion control, concrete work, hot mix asphalt paving, and site stabilization. The work will be awarded under a single contract.
The contract duration is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of $250 per day will apply for failure to meet completion requirements.
Award will be based on a best-value evaluation process. The Owner will determine proposer responsiveness and responsibility, may conduct discussions and negotiations, and reserves the right to award without discussions. If only one responsive proposal is received, the Owner may determine it to be the most advantageous and award accordingly.
Proposals will be evaluated using the Evaluation Factors and Scoring Matrix identified in the RFP. The contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to the Owner.
Proposer must obtain the Contract Documents from the office of the Engineer and be listed on Official Plan Holder List in order to be eligible to submit a proposal.

Each proposal must include a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the proposed amount. The successful proposer must provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive informalities or technicalities.
