The project consists of relining an existing untreated water 96-inch inside diameter prestressed concrete cylinder pipe by fabricating, setting and welding approximately 4,968 feet of 93-inch outside diameter welded collapsible steel liners, and installing approximately 96 feet of 93-inch outside diameter cement mortar lined welded steel pipe closure pieces at two portals. This project will also include installation of an isolation facility for Pipeline 5 near the Oceanside 5 Flow Control Facility turnout, and rehabilitating eight pipeline structures which include removing, replacing, and salvaging existing valves and piping components.
