INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for furnishing the following will be received at the Newburyport Department of Public Services (DPS) – Water/Sewer Business Office, 16C Perry Way, Massachusetts 01950 until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. The time received will be stamped on each bid and for a consistency of time, the clock in the Water/Sewer Business Office will be the determining time.

A pre-bid meeting/site visit will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 9:00 AM. It is highly recommended for all interested bidders to attend this meeting. Bidders shall meet at the Storey Avenue Pump Station located at 239 Storey Avenue, Newburyport, MA 01950.

Bids will be opened at the Water/Sewer Business Office located at 16C Perry Way, Newburyport, MA 01950. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof.

The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L Chapter 30B.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the City. The Newburyport Waterfront Trust (“WFT”) reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the Newburyport Waterfront Trust.
