Fontaine-Aquanox and Sanitaire Products and Parts

Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with MKI Services, Inc. for the provision of Fontaine-Aquanox actuator products and parts, and Sanitaire diffused aeration equipment and replacement parts.

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

Per correspondence from Fontaine-Aquanox Water Control Gates, dated October 28, 2024, MKI Services, Inc. is the sole manufacturer's representative for Fontaine-Aquanox for the State of Florida and as such the authorized dealer for Fontaine-Aquanox products and parts. Per correspondence from Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc., the proprietary manufacturer of all Sanitaire equipment, dated October 28, 2024, MKI Services, Inc. is the exclusive authorized representative for the sale of Xylem Sanitaire products and systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities in the State of Florida, with exception of some northwestern counties.

Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
