Introduction
Purpose
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to gather information from qualified vendors regarding data governance tools and solutions for the University of Minnesota. The purpose of this RFI is to identify a tool or set of tools that can manage and govern various institutional data sources, including Student, Financial, Space and Physical Asset Management, and Human Resources. While academic research data is excluded, the Tools should also include Research Administration data sources. This information will help the university evaluate current data governance solutions in the market and determine which one or ones align well with its goal of active management to improve data quality, security, accessibility, and compliance.
