Description


Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Grease Trap Cleaning Services to Georgia Southern University(hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFQ. This contract would be for One (1) Year with Four (4) Optional one year renewals & the resulting contract will be available for use by other State of Georgia Institutions, Colleges, Universities, or other Georgia State Agencies upon approval of the awarded suppliers, the University System of Georgia (USG), and the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS).
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia by and on behalf of Georgia Southern University (GSU) is seeking a qualified supplier to provide grease trap cleaning services as further described in this eRFQ for both Statesboro and Savannah campuses. Supplier will be required to remove, clean, and dispose of waste from the grease traps throughout all campuses. The successful supplier will be responsible for cleaning, inspecting the grease traps and providing a written report detailing the services performed.
Overview of the eRFQ Process
The objective of the eRFQ is to select one or more qualified suppliers to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFQ to the State Entity.  This eRFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award.  All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below.  After evaluating all suppliers¿ responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFQ and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFQ process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results.  Subject to the protest process, final contract award(s) will be publicly announced thereafter.
