54/19 junction at Basinger’s Corner.

Required:

Preliminary & Final Design:

Conceptual roadway design options were previously

reviewed and estimated for this corridor. Review and

expand upon these initial concepts during the

Preliminary Design phase. Ensure a robust core-team

process is utilized during project development and

public involvement.

Progress through the Final Design phase with an

anticipated letting schedule of November 2029.

Emphasize the importance of Constructability and

Maintenance of Traffic during project construction.

Surveying:

Initial topographic surveying has been completed for

the corridor. Existing utilities and general right of way

limits were also identified.

Supplemental field surveying is expected.

Professional land surveying to establish existing land

corners, property lines, and titlework necessary to

allow for the acquisition of Right of Way, including

final monumentation, will be required.

Other Comments:

Geotechnical:

Perform all Preliminary and Final Geotechnical

investigations and analysis to allow for the

development of roadway and/or bridge plans.

Consultant will be responsible for coordinating any

and all traffic control needs during possible field

drilling operations.

A Final Report will be completed to provide all

geotechnical recommendations, detailed guidance, and

typical sections necessary to design and construct the

project.

Environmental:

Perform NEPA study for the identified project

segments. Environmental Scope should include

wetland delineation, stream permitting, cultural

fieldwork for archaeology and architectrure,

completing a Section 106 programmatic agreement,

and a possible noise study.

Interviews or presentations will not be required.
