The City of Clayton is soliciting proposals from individuals or firms to enter into a Professional Services Agreement to perform professional building code inspection services. The City is requesting qualifications from individuals or firms with expertise necessary to perform building, plumbing and/or mechanical inspections for residential, commercial, institutional and mixed-use development projects for conformance with local regulations and best practices. The workload is dependent on the number of inspection requests submitted to the City but is estimated to average 30 to 40 hours per week. The City intends to select one individual or firm to provide services under this RFP. The Professional Services Agreement is expected to serve for a term of three (3) months to one (1) year.

Responses should be provided via email by 5:00pm on Monday, October 13, 2025.
