BWT-1611-RDT (R): to provide all necessary labor, parts, materials and equipment for the removal, transportation and disposal of Residuals, as defined in Section D-2.2 below, from the Wastewater Resource Recovery Facilities and other DEP facilities on an as-needed basis. DEP does not guarantee a minimum quantity of Residuals to be transported and disposed of by the Contractor under this Contract. At the commencement of the Contract, the Contractor shall deliver up to eighty (80) empty roll-off container(s) to the Sites and place them in the designated loading positions where they will be loaded by DEP personnel. However, the Contractor may be required to provide containers up to two (2) weeks prior to the commencement of the Contract. Containers may take from a few hours to one week to be filled. DEP shall notify the Contractor when a container is ready for removal. The Contractor shall pick up and replace up to thirty (30) roll-off containers per day, but may be required to pick up and replace additional roll-off containers as directed by DEP. The Contractor shall dispose approximately five (5) rail modular containers of Residuals per day at a DEP-approved disposal facility, but may be required to dispose up to twelve (12) or more containers if directed by DEP. All containers must have a capacity of at least 25 to 30 cubic yards. This Competitive Sealed Bid (“RFx”) is being released through PASSPort, New York City’s online procurement portal. Responses to this RFx should be submitted via PASSPort. To access the solicitation, vendors should visit the PASSPort Public Portal at https://www.nyc.gov/site/mocs/passport/about-passport.page and click on the “Search Funding Opportunities in PASSPort” blue box.
