Solicitation Description:

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking to augment its current staff at the Metro Transit Police Departments Communication Division with contract personnel. The Communications Division is a 24-hour, 365 days per year operation. The communications division is responsible for receiving and processing all calls for service to the Metro Transit Police Department, coordinating with jurisdictional police and fire departments, making appropriate notifications, and providing support services during periods of stress and has latitude for independent judgement and action, within established guidelines.
