DEP intends to enter into a Sole Source agreement with Oceanbotics Inc., for SRV-8 for the Purchase of a remotely operated vehicle underwater robot. The Bureau of Police and Security (BPS) Emergency Services Unit (ESU) conducts search, rescue and recovery operations, and infrastructure inspections. This ROV will assist the ESU team with these critical tasks. After 20 plus years of use, the current Underwater ROV Sea Otter’s thrusters and propellers no longer work, the remote to drive the Sea Otter cannot control the ROV, and it is unable to display images from under the water. Any firm which believes it can also provide the required service IN THE FUTURE is invited to so, indicated by letter which must be received no later than August 21, 2025, 4:30pm at: Department of Environmental Protection, Agency Chief Contracting Officer, 59-17 Junction Blvd., 17 ^th Floor, Flushing, New York 11373, ATTN: Glorivee Roman, glroman@dep.nyc.gov
