Description

Interior Health is responsible for associated costs for small water systems and CSRD is responsible for lab testing costs for large water systems (Falkland, Cedar Heights, Sorrento & Anglemont)

Notice is hereby given by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (“CSRD”) of its intent to award a contract to CARO Analytical Services for the following services:
Lab Services - Weely water testing for large water systems (Falkland, Cedar Heights, Sorrento and Anglemont)
The CSRD chose to solicit a price from CARO Analytical Services exclusively, due to the following rationale:
CARO is one of the few qualified labs in the region approved to perform water testing. Interior Health (IH) currently uses the CARO Analytical Service in Kelowna and they allow CSRD to send the samples with theirs, saving significant costs in courier services. Using the same lab as Interior Health provides efficiencies in coordination of the services.
Suppliers wishing to object to this decision should email their objection by Friday February 28, 2025, no later than 2:00pm, local time to: procurement@csrd.bc.ca , Attention: Dona Thiem

Suppliers objecting must provide specific reasons for their objection. The Suppliers ability to provide product and services at a lower cost and of the same or better quality will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of Suppliers objections.
