Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing
Conducting Procurement Unit: Utah Department of Natural Resources- Division of Wildlife Resources
The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: wildlife habitat improvement by constructing 1,035 man-made beaver dams, or Beaver Dam Analogs (BDA) for the purpose of catching sediment to reduce erosion and fix stream banks throughout 4 specified areas near Simpson Springs, Birdseye, and Spanish Fork Canyon, UT.
A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: From award until required completion date of June 15th, 2026. (Breakdown below)

250 BDA units in Lee Creek, near Simpson Springs, UT. (March 15 to May 30, 2026)
150 BDA units in Blind Canyon Creek, near Birdseye, UT (September 25 to November 15, 2025)
135 BDA units in Lake Fork Creek, near Birdseye, UT (April 15 to June 15, 2026)
250 BDA units in Dairy Fork Creek, in Spanish Fork Canyon, UT (April 15 to June 15, 2026)
All work must be completed by June 15, 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for the length of the contract.
