Barney Jordan Landing Rehab Engineering Services

Richland County (County) is seeking proposals, no more than 30 pages, from qualified engineering consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for the rehabilitation of Barney Jordan Landing, a publicly accessible boating facility located at the end of Rosewood Drive in Richland County, South Carolina. The selected consultant shall provide engineering, surveying, permitting coordination, design, and construction document preparation services necessary to support the facility's rehabilitation.

Barney Jordan Landing is a publicly accessible boating facility that provides 24-hour access to the Congaree River for boaters, anglers, paddlers, and other recreational users. Normal wear and tear, combined with recurring flood events, have resulted in deterioration of the courtesy dock, parking lot, and associated infrastructure. Richland County is seeking professional engineering services for the rehabilitation of an existing boating facility. Improvements may include replacement of the courtesy dock and piles, parking lot, and other associated site improvements. Services shall include evaluation of existing conditions; survey and data collection as necessary; preparation of engineering plans and specifications; construction cost estimates; permitting coordination; development of complete, proposal-ready construction documents; proposal assistance; and construction administration.
